When the Nike Kids team transitioned from mirroring adult lines to defining its own creative voice, I led the design direction that captured the spirit of play and individuality.

By blending sport heritage with graphic boldness, I helped create a scalable design system that became the foundation for a new era of Nike Kids — balancing consistency, adaptability, and joy.

Football Jersey

Inspired by on-field energy, this piece reimagines classic athletic construction with bold slash lines and mixed materials. Layered graphics and textures introduce a modern, playful attitude to a traditionally structured silhouette.

Bomber Jacket

Designed as a celebration of individuality, the jacket features all-over graphic play — quilted textures, snaps, patches, and layered labels. Every element contributes to a sense of discovery and joy, turning a sports staple into a statement of personality.

Alumni Short

A spirited nod to team pride, this short amplifies scale and attitude through exploded graphics and oversized patches. It embodies the “fun and bold” identity of the collection — nostalgic, confident, and full of motion.

Hypercool

Evolved the existing “Adopt” styles by reengineering the fit, pattern, and material chemistry to make them safe and effective for young athletes. The coating formulation originally developed for adult products — designed to block UV rays and lower surface temperature by one degree — was carefully adjusted to suit kids’ needs while preserving cooling efficiency and comfort. These refinements enhanced breathability and moisture management without sacrificing durability or performance.

Therma Reset

Reimagined one of the most commercial sport silhouettes with bold blocking and graphic updates that brought new confidence and energy to the look. Built on the belief that feeling good starts with looking good, the design offered kids stylish, sweat-wicking gear that elevated self-assurance while delivering functional warmth and comfort — a true balance of performance and attitude.

Instacool

Introduced Kid-Right Tech, a cooling system designed specifically for kids’ movement and motivation. The garments featured stand-off construction for airflow, motion sleeves for unrestricted play, and a thermo-reactive logo that revealed itself through heat — giving kids a sense of reward for pushing hard enough to break a sweat. Performance met playfulness in a way that kept them engaged and active.
